A meus queridos amigos e amigas desejo feliz Natal e feliz Ano Novo.
Desejo não apenas aquele Natal de papai Noel marketizado e comercializado,saindo das lojas com o saco carregado de presentes para encher os olhos das crianças de desejos realizados ou daquelas outras crianças a quem mulheres e homens piedosos oferecem presentes através dele, do Papai Noel, como se fossem respostas às pequenas cartas de tantas outra, induzidas a ajudar a venda do comércio de brinquedos, superando, dessa forma, as vendas do ano passado em 2%. Ou, se Papai Noel ajudar, até em 4 ou 5 % para alegria também das estatísticas de crescimento do setor, e também do Ministério de Indústria e Comércio, e da Receita Federal, enquanto o aniversariante do dia-Jesus, o recém-nascido que não encontrou lugar no comercio de Belém, continua nascendo numa estrebaria, desconhecido dos homens e proibido de brincar no meio das mesmas crianças que brincam com papai Noel.
O feliz Natal que desejo é o do amor, que, quando existe, ou é recebido, faz com que exista aconchego, acolhida, felicidade mais que alegria, paz ao invés de discórdia, esperança ao invés de angústia, segurança ao invés de medo, harmonia e tranquilidade ao invés de desespero e dor, como nos ensinava o Presépio de São Francisco de Assis.
Não. Também o feliz Ano Novo que eu desejo não é o do “muito dinheiro no bolso, saúde para dar e vender”. O feliz Ano Novo que desejo é que em nossas famílias, na minha e na sua, meus queridos e minhas queridas, prevaleça, em primeiro lugar o Amor. Nas Comunidades também. Também no Brasil e no Mundo, porque onde houver Amor haverá harmonia entre os homens, paz entre as Nações, ética e promoção do bem comum entre os que governam, trabalho e dignidade para todos, homens e mulheres, jovens, adultos e idosos, e então sim, haverá também dinheiro suficiente e suficiente saúde ,mas haverá junto com o dinheiro e a saúde, paz, harmonia e felicidade no coração de todos.
Não, meu querido amigo, minha querida amiga, não estou dizendo nada de novo. Estou procurando transmitir a você e sua família, a todos os que você ama e os que amam você, a Mensagem verdadeira, ou essencial, do Natal, aquela trazida ao mundo por um Menino que escandalizou os fariseus, os poderosos e os que faziam do dinheiro seu deus, já naquele tempo a Mensagem do Amor anunciada desde o primeiro momento pelos Anjos nos céus de Belém: “Glória a Deus nas Alturas e Paz na Terra aos Homens de Boa Vontade”.
Creio que é esta a Mensagem essencial do Natal, de um Menino chamado Jesus, nascido nesta data,25 de dezembro, há 2.013 anos, para trazer ao mundo a Revolução do Amor- amorizar o mundo, Mensagem que tantos ainda não descobriram, ou não entenderam, e diante da qual todas as outras coisas são periféricas, como Ele mesmo viria a ensinar, respondendo á pergunta sobre qual o maior mandamento :”Amar a Deus sobre todas as coisas, e ao próximo com a si mesmo”, respondeu, acrescentando em seguida-“ e todas as outras coisas vos serão dadas por acréscimo.”
Sim. meus queridos, tudo é bom : o presente de Natal, o Papai Noel, suficiente dinheiro. Muita saúde, o abraço e o carinho desta noite de Natal. Mas nada tem muito sentido se for esquecida a Mensagem essencial e for esquecido Aquele que a trouxe para todos os Homens de boa vontade.

Christmas and New Year’s Message.
For my dear friends I wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I wish not only that Christmas of a promoted and commercialized Santa Claus, going out of the stores with a bag full of presents to fill the children’s eyes of realized wishes or that other children who pitying women and men offer gifts through him, Santa Claus, as it was answers to the small letters of many others, induced to help the sale of the toys trade surpassing thus last year’s sales by 2%.Or if Santa Claus help even in 4% or 5% for also the joy of the growth statics of the sector, and also the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Internal Revenue Service, as the birthday day – Jesus, the newborn that didn’t find a place in the trade of Bethlehem, continues being born in a stable, unknown by men and forbidden to play in the middle of the same children that play with Santa Claus.
The Merry Christmas that I wish is the one of Love that when it exists or it’s received makes that exists more cosiness, reception, more happiness than joy, peace instead of discord, hope instead of anguish, safety instead of fear, harmony and tranquility instead of despair and pain as taught us the Nativity of St. Francis of Assisi.
No. The Happy New Year that I also wish is not one with “a lot of money in the pocket, heath to give and sell”. The happy New Year that I wish is one which ourfamilies, in mine and in yours, my dear friends, prevail, in first place, the Love. In communities too. Also in Brazil and in the World, because where there is love, it’ll be harmony between men, peace between Nations, ethic and promotion of common good between people who govern, labor and dignity for all, men and women, young people, adults and elderly, and then yes, there’ll be also money enough and enough health, but there’ll be with the money and the health, peace, harmony and happiness in everyone’s heart.
No, my dear friend, I’m not saying anything new again. I’m trying to transmit to you and your family, for allyou love and for the people who love you, the true or essential message of Christmas, that brought to the world for a Boy who scandalized the Pharisees, the powerful ones and those who made the money their god, even then the Love Message announced since the first moment from the outset by Angels in the skies of Bethlehem: “Glory to God in the highest and Peace on earth to people of Good Will.”
I believe that this’s the essential message of Christmas, of a Boy called Jesus, He was borned on this date, on December 25th, 2.013 years ago to bring the world the Love Revolution – “Loverize” the world, Message that so many haven’t discovered yet, or haven’t understood and before which all the other things are peripheral as He himself would teach, answering the question about which the greatest commandment: Love God above all things, and others with oneself,” replied, adding next – “and all other things will be given you besides.”
Yes. My dear, everything is good: the Christmaspresent, the Santa Claus, enough money. A lot of health, the hug and the affection of this Christmas night. But nothing has too much sense if it’s forgotten the essential message and if it’s forgotten the One who brought it for all like-minded Men.
